Richard did a try dive/discover scuba with us last year and after long conversations with the parents who have a holiday home here came back to do his Junior Open Water with us.
Aren’t parents great …!! Julia and especially Richard so many cars to clean, rubbish to put out, lawns to cut, rooms to tidy…….

So when Silke said she wanted to get a scuba diving certification who did Marco suggest. With it so far? Excellent. To make life a little more interesting Silke’s first language is German…no problem. So Hannah a local instructor and friend, her husband Andy is Tenerife’s resident professional camerman, ran the theory side of the course for Silke with your truley doing the practical side of things. This left Marco and Sarah (the Missus) holding my son and in Marco’s case feeding him.

Posted by TheBoss in : Customers , add a commentEscaping from the “sunny uk” these two reprobates quickly chilled after a few dives. James was classic in that he didn’t except much of the diving and thought Tenerife was all 18-30 holidays ….end of the week he was talking about coming back. Helen proved to be a little camera shy and kept throwing the bird to me, but got her in the end.

Kerr-another Docklands Dive Club member July 3, 2008
Posted by TheBoss in : Customers , add a commentAnother new member of our old dive club…that make sense? Think so… joined us for a weeks worth of diving/training.
For someone used to diving in UK quarries, the visability and wildlife came as a bit of a shock. Especially when you come face to face with a 2m+ Atlantic Stingray, the other Butterfly Ray, Eagle Ray and some 20 odd common rays pale into insignificance when one of these boys comes to say hello.
Well done on finishing your AOW.
